In the spring of 2017 I interviewed one of my childhood heroes, John Wardley, and much of that interview features in ‘A Tale of the Towers’, also available to watch on this channel.
We talked a lot that afternoon about all manner of things but mostly I wanted to know more about the man who brought the Theme Park to Great Britain and of course about the design and construction of some of the rides that I grew up with.
In part 1 of this extended interview series we hear about John’s background and beginnings, Mr John Wardley, frankly a legend in his own tea time.
