75th Anniversary LRA 2025 Las Vegas Welcome Video

Описание: This special LRA 2025 Las Vegas Welcome Video was created by Dr. Benita Brooks, Dr. Chyllis Scott, Ben Morse, Franchesca Ramirez, Julieta Aldrete, and Samson Welcher, with sponsorship from the UNLV Zeiter Literacy Center and the UNLV Department of Teaching and Learning.

In this short video, viewers are introduced to Las Vegas through a literacy lens — exploring the city’s vibrant culture and community “off the strip.”

The video features Dr. Claytee White, Founding Director of the UNLV Oral History Research Center, who shares her story, her connection to UNLV, and her insights on the role of literacy in the broader Las Vegas community.
