All The Tors: A Dartmoor Story

Описание: Emily Woodhouse journeys across Dartmoor and through her life, as she tried to be the first person to visit all the tors on Dartmoor in one continuous circuit. The All the Tors Challenge took place in 2018: 119 tors, 10 days and 300km of walking solo and self-sufficient across the wilderness, fundraising for Dartmoor Rescue.

This film makes me feel vulnerable – more vulnerable than being a solo female walking and camping on Dartmoor! It’s a window into my life and into an expedition that I spent almost entirely alone - with the fog, the bog and a camera for company. At the high points I was living out a childhood dream. At the lows I was so sleep deprived and exhausted that I was hallucinating killer cows. But I want to share that all with you, because that’s the truth of expeditions. It’s not all hardcore, epic adventurer – although we might like to seem that way sometimes! So, I hope you enjoy the film and my little love story to Dartmoor. The All the Tors Challenge was a very personal journey and I hope I’ve managed to convey and explain that in the film.
