Описание: Dino Alves is one of the most renowned Portuguese designers today. Born in Porto in 1965, he graduated in Painting at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto and, later, in Photography at INEF. After a stint at Cinemateca Portuguesa, he decided to dedicate himself to fashion, an area in which he quickly stood out for his irreverence and innovation.

His first fashion show took place at the “Manobras de Maio” in 1994 and, from May 1997, he began to regularly present his collections at ModaLisboa – Lisbon Fashion Week. Since then, it has presented seasonal collections, costumes for dance and theater shows, wardrobes for advertising, fashion events and product launches.

Dino Alves is a versatile and multifaceted stylist, who moves easily between different styles. Its collections are marked by a strong conceptual component and an irreverent aesthetic, which mixes classic elements with pop and urban references. His work is often inspired by artistic movements, such as dadaism, surrealism and punk.

The designer is also known for his work as a stylist. He has collaborated with several artists and public figures, namely Herman José, FF, the Festival da Canção and the Marcha da Bica das Marchas Populares de Lisboa.

In 2022, Dino Alves launched his new brand, 2nd Upcycled Label, in partnership with men's ready-to-wear store Mister Man. The brand aims to promote sustainability through the reuse of waste materials.

Dino Alves is a fashion creator who stands out for his creativity, irreverence and commitment to sustainability. His work is an important contribution to the affirmation of Portuguese fashion in the world.
