Patrick previously described Jan. 24, 2023, as one of Lindsay’s “best days,” beginning with a doctor’s appointment, playing in the snow and art projects with their children. Hours later, prosecutors say Lindsay strangled 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan after sending Patrick out to run errands.

Lindsay Clancy’s attorneys argue she was experiencing postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible. Prosecutors contend she acted intentionally and understood what she was doing.

The trial resumes after a one-day break.
