Описание: China is marking five years since declaring an end to extreme poverty. On February 25th, 2021, President Xi Jinping announced the country had lifted the last 100 million people out of poverty since 2012. Over the past four decades, China has lifted 770 million people out of poverty. China's success accounts for more than 70% of the global population lifted out of poverty during the same period. China has also met the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development poverty-eradication target 10 years ahead of schedule.
