Drag Through Effect - Art Techniques on Nails

Welcome to my home, today we’re going to do an experiment. We’re going to attempt a drag through effect.

I’ve already prepped my nails by buffing off the surface shine and I’m going to do two coats of Snow White on two nails.

On the second layer of my colour I’m not going to cure it and I’m going to paint a chain black and lay it on the nail and pull it down. I’m then going to cure and Matte Top Coat the nail.

For the next technique, I’ll cure both coats of white and use blooming gel before adding the black with the chain, I’m then going to add another layer of blooming gel and Periwinkle.

For the third nail I’m going to do two coats of Mint to Be and use Pitch Purple, Mimosa and Snow White into the top coat and create a rainbow and then add the chain to move the polish.

On the fourth nail I’m going to use the same colours but with a butterfly shape and add in some detail with Serious Black and Snow White on all the nails.
