Welcome to our next STRANGE adventure.

We recently stayed at Grey’s Point Campground. It was beautiful. In addition, it was a very special weekend for our family. My wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. No better way to do it than with our family doing something we love, camping! A bonus was that we just purchased a Grand Design Reflection 311BHS and this was its maiden voyage.

Grey’s point is known for its beautiful landscapes along the Rappahannock river very close to the Chesapeake Bay. There are beautiful sites all over the place. We stayed in a pull-thru super site, which included a paved driveway along with two concrete pads. Each site also had full hook-up, picnic tables and fire pits. If you are planning on staying there, make sure to rent a golf cart because it is a rather big campground. Oh, you also have to check out the sunset down by the river. There is a timelapse of it in this video. It is amazing! I dare say it rivaled the sunset we watched in Key West. Of course the water and surrounding scenery wasn’t quite the same, but the colors in the sky were beautiful. There is a waterpark for the pool time, lots of events and just a general laid back atmosphere. We met some pretty cool people along with very friendly staff while we were there.
