In this video, I cover basic motion tracking, and animating a path in Adobe After Effects. Using a 2D Google Earth Studio short video, I outline a building and track the outline to the end of the scene. The concepts here can be applied to GIS videos from Google Earth, OSM, drone footage, and other 2D video formats.
This tutorial is great for beginners and anybody interested in dipping their toes into 2D map animation in AE.

Project file instructions:
1. Download the whole folder - open the AE file
2. Make sure you are working in the comp labeled "Start Here"
3. Use the "Final Comp - Completed" to cross-check your work
