Raising of vegetable seedling through plug tray methods (Hindi)

Описание: In this video I am discussing about seedling raising of different vegetable and flowers crops.
Importance of plug tray raising
Easy to weed control
Germination per cent of seed is more.
No soil borne diseases.
Less growing season and higher yield.
More efficient use of surface area.
Seedling can be raised in off season like rainy season.
Easy to control disease and pest.
Uniform, healthy and quick root growth with quality seedling.
Good for small size vegetable and ornamental seeds
No soil-borne fungus or virus infection due to soilless sterilized media.
Easy to transport.
Reduced field management cost.

*Procedure of plug tray sowing

Growing media Cocopeat (3kg) +1kg perlite +1kg vermiculite or Cocopeat (3kg) +vermicompost (1kg) mixed it properly. Treat with Trichderma 250ml per 100kg mixture or Bavistin 1g per 5kg mixture take and mixed it properly. Watering in cocopeat mixture. Then mixed humic acid 98 % in granular form 1g per 1kg mixture or Annapurna from multiplex mixed it @1kg per 1kg mixture.

Note: Not apply more water just press it in your hand then moisture is in your hand little not drop wise fall down from hand.

1.Trays are filled with the growing medium and tapped gently to fill the cell properly.

2.Seedling trays are drenched using Carbendazim 2g/l or Copper oxychloride(3g/l).

3.Seeds are treated with Carbendazim (0.2g/100seed) or Captan (0.2g/100g seed) are sown one per cell. After 5 min seeds are treated with immidachloroprid 2ml kg of seeds.

4. Make hole by hand or pen. Then give single seed per cavity. Covered with a thin layer of the above growing medium.
5.Filled trays are staked one above the other and covered with white plastic sheet.
6.Seeds are taken 4-6 days after sowing according to temperature and humidity. But cabbager and cauliflower take only two days for germination.
7.Trays are shifted to a greenhouse and placed on the raised bed covered with a plastic sheet immediate after germination.
8.Trays are watered twice a day maintain appropriate moisture. Seedlings are drenched with 19:19:19 + 12:61:0 @1mg per 1lt of water and humic acid 98% granular form @1g per lt of water at alternate days. once apply fungicide saaf @2g perlt of water.
9.Seedlings are sprayed using acephate (0.75g/l) to prevent infection by thrips. Hardening is done by exposing them gradually to sunlight and by reducing the frequency of watering.
10.Seedlings will be ready for planting after 25-30 days after sowing.
