Описание: The Telangana government has decided to implement comprehensive development plans for Gram Panchayats across the state.

The initiative aims to address issues identified during the 99-day Praja Palana–Pragathi Pranalika programme and undertake necessary development works at the village level.

Minister Seethakka held a video conference with Additional Collectors of Local Bodies, District Panchayat Officers, and other officials, directing them to ensure effective implementation of the Gram Panchayat Comprehensive Development Plan.

The minister emphasized that strengthening village panchayats is a key priority of the government and instructed officials to ensure that not even a single rupee is spent against rules at the grassroots level.

Training sessions are being conducted for sarpanches, panchayat secretaries, and staff until July 10. Officials will also be trained on the VBG Ram Ji Act. The minister warned that strict departmental action would be taken against those who fail to attend the training programmes or neglect their responsibilities.
