Am I the jerk for kicking out relatives after I came back from a work trip?
I agreed to let distant relatives stay in my apartment while I was away for work — with clear rules and boundaries. When I returned home, my place was trashed, my belongings were used without permission, and they laughed it off when confronted.
I asked them to leave that same day. Now my family says I was cold, selfish, and overreacted — and I’m being guilted for standing my ground.
