Our final full day in Branson, MO. You could tell that most of guests tend to head towards Silver Dollar City on the weekend, because we found the crowds to be pretty slow for most of what we did this day.
We started off the morning heading to Top of the Rock. Part of the Bass Pro Shops company is a wilderness lodge and retreat situated on the hills overlooking Table Rock Lake. They offer a guided golf-cart tour that winds you around the cliffs and through multiple natural waterfalls and caves. I was white-knuckling many different times, as I have a fear of heights. The pathway got backed up at times, but it was still a beautiful drive.
In the afternoon, we headed to Shephard of the Hills. While they are primarily known for their famous show, we found they had a pass that allowed you to explore the grounds. We visited their animals, played some of their homemade games, and travelled to the top of the Overlook tower.
After a final dinner, we headed to Moonrise Beach on the outskirts of town. We just relaxed as the sunset over the lake. Ending a great trip with family over the summer. Our final trip as a family of 3.
