Hi everyone! It's Nonnie.

Another fabulous day hiking in the Smokies! Cold, wet and windy. On the way to Peck's Shelter, which is 0.4 miles off the AT trail downhill. Tomorrow's start will begin will a 0.4 hike out back up to the trail. The shelter will be a welcome retreat this evening!

It's time! Rise up, get off the couch, find some purpose, some joy, and let's move together. Don't think you can do it? You can. I did! Older? Female hiking solo? Need to become healthier than you are now? Any of those? Join as I share my mission to inspire you to get active, embrace nature, and find your sense of purpose. No matter who you are, age, gender, culture, we all need to stop and find some peace, right? Hiking gives that to me; I hope to inspire and encourage you.

Become healthier, more active, hiking (for me), has helped me physically and mentally. I care and want to encourage you. Sometimes, it's the little things that can rejuvenate us.
