DJI Phantom 4 Pro Problems in 2026 / Give Away Update!!!

Recently we flew the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and discovered we may have some problems. The last several times we've taken the Phantom 4 Pro (aka Boss Hogg) up in the air, his controller screen has acted really weird. Either the screen will turn green and flicker or there will be a black line fade in and out. Sometimes the entire screen goes black and I have no idea what the drone is looking at. These scenarios are positions you never want to find yourself in as a "serious" drone pilot like myself so I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out what the problem is.

Well, I narrowed the Phantom 4 Pro problems down to 1 thing that makes total sense (to me). I believe, based on all the comments, advice and research, that the main issue is the batteries. I believe the Phantom 4 Pro batteries are all beyond their years and it may be time to replace them. So, what did I do? I bought more batteries and today we are going to test them out to see if that solves the problem. Sound like fun? Of course it does...
