Two Breitling Navitimers in steel from different eras, with slight iterations in their design. The OG, reference 806, produced during the 1970s features the twin jet logo on its dial, a collaborative with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association to create the slide rule. Ours is the last iteration with the notched bezel and is in original finish with well-preserved lume.
The 2010s modern A23322 redesign of the 806: new caliber 24, slightly wider hands, applied baton indexes, convex sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating and the chrono sweep hands has a red arrow tip and an ornamental B counterweight. The foundation of the overall case; pushers, crown and lugs remain similar. Which of the two do you prefer, the OG or rerelease?
