Nuclear is the ‘gold standard of power’ ticking all the boxes

“You want a de-carbonised grid and reduced emissions? Nuclear ticks that box. You want reliable and cheap, affordable energy? Nuclear ticks that box too,” Mr Bernardi said.

“So why does the lunacy of this moratorium continue to prevail".

Advance Australia Director Liz Storer told Sky News it is embarrassing that Australia is the only G20 country which has a ban on nuclear energy.

“The sooner we get nuclear off the ground the better,” she said.

“It’s the gold standard of power.”
