Originally from Sri Lanka, Chavindhya and Sandun made the move to Australia in 2019.
Yesterday, they proudly became Australian citizens at the City of Perth’s Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony at Perth Town Hall.
The City officially welcomed more than 70 new citizens, representing 30 countries, in a powerful celebration of diversity and belonging.
Having fallen in love with Perth’s natural beauty and vibrant multicultural community, Chavindhya and Sandun are proud to call the City of Perth home.
