Hiking Coire Gabhail: The Best Hike In Glencoe

Coire Gabhail (The Lost Valley) is a challenging but rewarding hike in the Scottish Highlands. This 3.9-mile out-and-back trail takes you through stunning scenery, including waterfalls, forests, and mountain views. The trail can be tough, with steep and rocky terrain, and requires some scrambling. It's best to hike this trail between March and October when the weather is milder (I hiked it in October). Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring hiking poles for added stability. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Parking is a pain, so make sure to come early in the day to find a spot (it's free).
