Not reacting to tinnitus or irritating people can come about with a shift in our focus. Instead of our attention being out overexposed out there on the other or on the tinnitus, we come back to our own resources and establish a focus on what is ok first. We notice how our breathing is ok, or how our feet feel firm on the floor and all that is ok inside our own skin bag. And then, from that place, we open the awareness out to the irritating tinnitus or person out there and let them be irritating! Accept their irritation. Then practice coming back to to our sense of internal wellbeing inside.
This takes practice, but the more we do it, the more we realise we have a choice, and can change channel into inner well-being mode. Water the roses and not the weeds. Water the well-being and not the stressors. It is all about focus.
