KTM 890 Adventure R On and Off Road Test Ride and First Impressions

Описание: The brand new 2021 KTM 890 Adventure R is a truly impressive machine both on and off the road. I had the opportunity to take the 890 Adventure out on an extended test ride and even get the KTM 890 off road a bit on some gravel, and I came away thoroughly impressed. This bike excels both on and off the road.

On the road, the 890 is as fun as any street bike I've ever ridden. It accelerates smoothly and handles corners better than any adventure bike has any right to. I'd be very comfortable pushing the KTM 890 Adventure to its limits on a twisty mountain road, and it's got enough power to handle extended rides on the freeway easily.

When you get the KTM 890 Adventure R off road, it's somehow even more impressive. This bike just eats up gravel roads and bumps like nobody's business. In off road mode, the rider has plenty of leeway to powerslide the back end around before the traction control kicks in to helpfully guide you back into a straight line.

My overall KTM 890 Adventure R review is this: it's a highly-capable and very fun to ride machine, both on and off the road. KTM reliability is a concern for many, but if you're looking for the highest performance and capability in an adventure motorcycle, the KTM 890 Adventure has a TON to offer. It's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for an ADV bike anytime soon.
