The government says it'll build a new rail link between Birmingham and Manchester in a bid to boost economic power in the north.
The announcement comes just 2 years after the Conservatives scrapped a similar route under HS2.
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander joins Ed Balls and Susanna Reid to talk about the development.
