In this video, I will show you how to use options to hedge your portfolio with low margin. This is a great way to reduce your risk and protect your profits without tying up a lot of capital.

I will be using a simple put credit spread strategy to illustrate this concept. A put credit spread is a bearish strategy that involves selling a put option and buying a put option with a lower strike price. This strategy generates income in the form of a premium, and it also provides downside protection.

The margin requirement for a put credit spread is typically much lower than the margin requirement for buying the underlying stock outright. This is because the option seller is only obligated to sell the stock if the option is exercised.

In this video, I will walk you through the steps involved in setting up a put credit spread and I will show you how to calculate the margin requirement. I will also discuss some of the risks associated with this strategy.
