The Divine Institute of Media Science (DiMS) is envisaged as a Centre of Excellence to produce talented media professionals with strong human values. Managed and run under the leadership of the Vincentian Fathers, DiMS aims to impart value based technical education in Media.
DiMS is Unaided/Self Financing College affiliated to University of Calicut and Managed by Divine Charitable Trust. DiMS offers Three Year Regular Degree Courses namely,
Bachelor in Visual Communication BVC (Digital Film Making)
Bachelor of Multimedia and Communication BMMC (Multimedia Production)
Bachelor of Mass Communication BMCJ (Broadcast Journalism)
DiMS aims to, mould media professionals who are competent and committed, and inculcate an inherent goodness, that shows forth in their future professional careers. The field of Media needs more and more men and women who stand for goodness and truth. DiMS offers an inclusive training environment where academics and 'on-hand' practical training are given simultaneously.
