No shortage of domestic LPG in Meghalaya, says Civil Supplies minister

Описание: Food and Civil Supplies Minister Methodius Dkhar on Thursday stated that Meghalaya is not facing any shortage of domestic LPG, though he clarified that there is no surplus supply either.

With regard to commercial LPG cylinders, the Minister acknowledged a degree of shortage, attributing it to the cap imposed by the Central Government on cylinder supplies.

He further informed that the State Government has written to the Union Government seeking an increase in allocation for Meghalaya, adding that the supply situation showed improvement on Wednesday.
