Big upgrades are finally online in 7 Days to Die: Asylum — the advanced asylum forge and crucible are complete. The problem? We’re suddenly short on resources and ammo, and it’s time to fix that the hard way.

To restock, we head out looting and grab a job from Dr. Pestilence, tackling the Aranea Caverns in hopes of scoring both valuable loot and mining materials. After what initially feels like a bust, we pivot and take on the Close Encounters Gun Range, running it twice to squeeze out every bit of ammo and weapon parts we can.

Still hungry for more, we accept one last job at the Goldrush Station — and that’s where everything turns around. Blue and red loot bags start dropping in massive numbers, elite zombies show up packing elite gear, and suddenly the run turns into a full-on payday.
