WHO ARE THE ROYAL SIGNALS?

Here in Essex, the Royal Signals are based in Colchester - but those recruiting outside ARU are part of 36 (Essex Yeomanry) Signal Squadron, a reserve squadron of the Royal Signals, which traces its origins to the Essex Yeomanry, raised in 1797.
Known in the past as Territorials or Terriers, they are made up of volunteers from Essex and the East of England - so to find out more go to:
