There are some parts including dark, shiny, transparent, or high reflective surfaces that are more challenging to scan.
Today, we show a video where our application engineer Gordon demonstrates the step-by-step process of capturing difficult-to-scan parts using a knee prosthesis implant (high reflective and shiny surface), a wheel hub (black and shiny), a shiny ball, and the whole process is without any surface treatment.
Under parallel blue laser mode or single line deep hole mode, every detail is nowhere to hide, even for scanning complex surfaces.
