Описание: The player takes control of Pig Newton, a brave little pig whose mission is to defend his precious fruit tree from relentless wolves wielding axes. The entire game unfolds within the tree itself, where Pig Newton can move freely up and down the branches, either by climbing the trunk or by dropping from one level to another to react quickly to incoming threats.

Pig Newton’s main form of defense is the tree’s fruit. By knocking down ripe, red apples, he can stun the attacking wolves and force them to retreat. Apples do not disappear permanently: once one is dropped, a new apple slowly grows back in its place. However, it must fully ripen—changing from green to red, before it can be used again, encouraging the player to think ahead and manage resources carefully.

As the action unfolds, birds occasionally fly in and lay eggs in nests scattered among the branches. Collecting these eggs rewards the player with bonus points, offering a risk-versus-reward opportunity amid the chaos.

The wolves are not the only danger. Squirrels add pressure by hurling nuts at Pig Newton, damaging him if they connect, although clever players can knock them out with apples to earn extra points. Owls, meanwhile, perch on key branches, occupying strategic positions that complicate movement and timing.

Falling from the tree is especially dangerous. An accidental drop attracts a wolf, who captures Pig Newton in a sack, costing him one of his limited lives.
The player starts with 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 lives, depending on the operator DIP switch settings, and the game becomes progressively more challenging with each completed level.
There is no final endpoint: the session continues indefinitely, pushing the player to survive as long as possible. Once all lives are lost, the game comes to an end.
