Scenario Overview
The Allies High command has launched Operation Paddle on the 17th of August; their goal is to progress along the coast in the direction of the Seine and to eliminate resistance pockets along the way. Today, four days later, the 21st of August, Houlgate is still held by the Germans. Located at the hinge of the Normandy coastline, in the immediate vicinity of the Dives estuary, Houlgate controls both the coast, the road axes and the observation heights. The one who holds Houlgate sees, controls, and directs movements throughout the sector !
