Beacons are powerful blocks that grant special effects to players within range. To craft one, you’ll need three obsidian, five glass, and a Nether Star, which is obtained by defeating the Wither.
To activate a beacon, build a pyramid using iron, gold, emerald, diamond, or netherite blocks. The size of the pyramid determines the available effects and range. A full four-layer pyramid grants access to all effects at their highest level and adds Regeneration as a bonus.
Beacons require a clear view of the sky to function, and their beam color can be customized using stained glass. Insert an iron ingot, gold ingot, emerald, or diamond to select an effect.
Experiment with different setups to maximize your buffs and enhance your gameplay.
