HAL Marut

Описание: This is the HAL HF-24 Marut, built in 1961,it was the first Indian-developed jet fighter and the first in Asia,outside the USSR.It primarily functioned as ground attack aircraft.Some 147 of these fighters were inducted into the IAF in 1967. The MARUT performed surprisingly well in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War notably in the Battle of Longewala.
