Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor - All Hardcore Dives Clear [Elimination + Escort Duty]

Описание: The hardest runs from the hardest gamemode: all 10 Hardcore dives (on version 1.0). Quite miserable, more than I initially expected, this made me rage quite a lot lol. I didn't really enjoy this compared to how fun the rest of the game was.

This is mentioned in the video, but the very last run (Azure Weald, Elimination) unfortunately doesn't have any audio, and I didn't bother to recomplete it since it was pretty damn hard. To make up for the lack of audio it has edited in music from the game that could/should be playing at given specific moments of the run, in an attempt to make it more enjoyable to watch. The first run on the video was done pre-patch 3 (on v1.0.97p), so I'm playing with Driller (which wasn't part of the main strategy) and with background music that isn't from the game (the Risk of Rain 2 ost). All of the other runs were done after patch 3 (v1.0.139p), and were significantly easier thanks to the gear, overclocks and weapon balancing. Please bear in mind, easier doesn't mean they were actually any easy, I still struggled a lot, it was just far more feasible and reasonable, and even so it took a bunch of attempts.
So, ignoring the experimental pre-patch mess that the first run is, the main strategy is the following: for Elimination, I used Sharp Shooter Scout, with the purpose of obliterating bosses as quickly as possible (bosses that have no other way around them other than killing them), and for Escort Duty, Tinkerer Engineer, since i find him pretty good at crowd control (in a gamemode that's more focused around endurance and survivability than Elimination). For Escort I simply aimed for good AOE weapons/damage. For Elimination, my run savers were the M1000 with Bigger Mags and Thick Boy (an absolute beast in terms of hunting bosses) and any freezing weapons (preferably Cryo Cannon) so bugs would have a smaller chance of chomping half of my health if they got too close. The Azure Weald run was an exception to this main strategy since the stupid fucking mini exploders were a major run killer and pain in the ass without decent AOE control.


The true 100% completion of this game took a total of 238hs to achieve, and Hardcore alone took around 20hs and 79 attempts including wins. Hardest roguelite I've completed and by a long shot.
