In 1961, astronomer Frank Drake introduced an equation that reframed the mystery of life in the universe as a matter of probability. Since then, we’ve discovered thousands of exoplanets. NASA now estimates there may be hundreds of billions in our galaxy alone. Life on Earth has proven shockingly resilient — thriving in boiling vents, frozen rock, and extreme radiation.

Statistically speaking, the idea that we are alone is becoming harder to defend.

But this episode goes further.

Two presidents — Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton — openly pursued answers about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Carter filed an official sighting report before becoming president. Clinton sent advisers to investigate classified sites. Both publicly admitted they ran into limits.

Then there’s Barack Obama — who has said plainly that alien life likely exists somewhere in the universe… but claimed he found no evidence of government cover-ups while in office.

Which raises a deeper question:
