This is a run along I-5 North & CA 22 West in Orange County, through the southern portion of the Greater Los Angeles Metro region. It starts at CA 74 north of Dana Point and follows I-5 to the Orange Crush Interchange with CA 22 West, before following CA 22 West to the western terminus near Long Beach.
