This is without a doubt the most annoying weapon in the game to obtain because of some of the requirements I list bellow, Tbh it's just annoying more than anything. Thankfully If you're playing this game in this day and age then it's more than likely an emulated copy, which you can use save/ load states and save yourself a headache.
Requirements: Complete the Murasame Castle Mode Stage 'Curiouser And Curiouser'
Tips: Use a Lightning weapon for easy combo counts, and have boots with the Red skills, that can recover Musou and Spirit while running, it saves so much time and it also means you can recover those gauges without having to attack, which if you lose the combo in some parts of the stage then you fail the stage, super annoying.
You instantly fail the stage If any of the following happens:
Lose a combo during a combo related mission
Fail to defeat enough enemies with a single musou
Fail to defeat Kyomasa and Masanori within the same attack string
Defeat any Kunoichi Clone
