Another UPDATED cover and this time it's Hard Times by KISS, as performed on their 1979 album Dynasty.
Just like Save Your Love, I felt it deserved an update. I only kept the solos and the acoustic guitar from my original version and redid everything else. The bass is now also included in the video. I also added a few bells and whistles (literally!) to the track to make sound complete.
Of notable importance, in addition to bridge/outro sections, there is also an additional acoustic guitar (low in the mix) doubling the main guitar throughout the entire song. I totally missed it before but it sounds much better with it in there. I excluded from the video because I didn't deem it necesary.
I am NOT a professional guitar player, in fact I've never actually taken a formal lesson. I just love to play. My intention isn't artistic expression, but rather to document how I think these songs are played. Both as a reference for myself and others wishing to learn. I welcome any suggestions or comments that might help me or anyone else improve their appreciation of this classic music catalog.
