Today we're playing a Hockey Sim ROGUELITE which is truly incredible. If you're a fan of hockey games (IE: NHL 94 or perhaps other more modern NHL titles) then this one is certainly for you! This game takes smooth Hockey sim mechanics and blends it with an intelligent Roguelite system that allows you to unlock new special skills for your players, new special characters, increase stats, take on bosses and challenges etc. etc. There's co-op, there's a tournament and create your own team and player functions. This game literally has everything you'd want in a hockey sim beyond a full season grind (which can get lengthy and monotonous). The gameplay loop of Tape to Tape is much different in that it subjects you to a true roguelite path where your choices matter. Improve your team accordingly and go for the gold! The artwork and character of this game is great and if you're a fan of hockey or Roguelites, then definitely give this one a look!
