Between 2011 and 2020 in France, Dominique Péllicot carried out one of the most disturbing crimes in recent memory.

For nearly a decade, he secretly drugged his wife Gisèle with powerful sleeping pills, slipping them into her food and drinks. Once she was unconscious, he allowed other men into their home to assault her — while he filmed and photographed everything.

He lured these men through websites for deviant encounters, convincing some that his wife had consented and “enjoyed playing the role of a victim.” Others, however, knew the truth.

The crimes might have remained hidden — until 2020. Police arrested Dominique over a separate complaint from neighbors about him taking unauthorized photos. When investigators searched his devices, they uncovered hundreds of videos and photos documenting years of abuse.

More than 70 men were involved, many of them respected figures — teachers, firefighters, even those in high-ranking positions.

In December 2024, Dominique was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a possibility of early release. Forty-nine other men received sentences ranging from 3 to 15 years, depending on their role in the crimes.

A case that horrified France, raising questions about complicity, consent, and the hidden darkness behind closed doors.
