Описание: Chipping Norton is a small English town in the county of Oxfordshire in the English Countryside. Chipping Norton is the highest town in Oxfordshire, situated on the western slopes of a hillside that was once the site of a Norman castle.

Chipping Norton is called "Chippy" by the locals and is one of the most attractive towns in the Cotswolds region.

The area was once a major centre in the wool trade which brought prosperity to the Cotswold region throughout the Middle Ages. More recently, Chadlington – 3 miles south – has become best known as the home of Diddly Squat Farm; Jeremy Clarkson's farming estate.

There is good choice of places to eat and top quality entertainment at the wonderful Theatre, famous for its pantomime and visiting world class performers.
