Fixing EK Direct Die velocity 2

Описание: In this video I go over a few tool needed to get your EK direct die to make better contact with your 13900k. I show some HWINFO of my i9 in stock setting with the original EK block and with the "improved" replacement they sent. Then the results of a quick R23 benchmark with HWINFO running after i did the filing and lapping to the cold plate.
The "frame" I refer to in this video is the aluminum contact frame that hold the i9 in place. The original I got from EK came in at 5.8mm, The Improved frame was 5.7mm, I file that down to 5.6mm. The cold block simply get files to make a good seal with the frame and all the corners ( where the screws go) are trimmed to 6.35mm. The improved frame was everywhere from 6.4mm~6.5mm. One thing I dont go over was that I lapped the back of the cold plate flat to give me a good reference point.
The PCB I mention is the MOBO.... I torque all the screws to the MOBO to 0.68N/m, which is 1.5lbs/in...i used a Capri screwdriver to tighten everything. This included putting the cold plate back on to the plexy.
Also i tried using thermal paste... the grizzly, the corsair stuff, and some others recommended by youtubers to not good results after 24 hours. I guess once it settled it wasn't very good. Instead use the liquid metal. Super awesome results with that.
