The Fazer series is known for its sporty looks and high performance. The bike has got a tagline 'Open your heart to the touring spirit' which itself defines it comfort and touring experience. Let's take a look at the specifications of this motorcycle. Yamaha Version 2.0 Fi serves as a half-faired version of the FZ-S Version 2.0. However the motorcycle retains its core Fazer DNA with its sports touring and stunning looks. Apart from that, it has got new remarkable updates including new graphics, dual headlights and fairing mounted rear view mirrors, a split seat, rear license plate enclosure, tyre-hugger and a new silencer canister. Its macho concept gives it an excellent ergonomics.

The motorcycle uses a lightweight diamond frame for a sharper and power packed performance on road. It has a ground clearance of 160 mm and an extended wheelbase of 1330 mm for better stability. Overall the bike looks more modern and appealing. The motorcycle features a fully digital instrument console that comprises a speedometer, tachometer, trip meter and a fuel gauge. The Fazer Version 2.0 Fi also bears an ECO indicator that lights up when the machine is ridden in an eco-friendly manner along with low fuel, oil and battery indicators. The motorcycle has got a length of 1990 mm, width of 760 mm and a height of 1115 mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 137 Kgs. It also features a sturdy tank with a fuel capacity of 12-litres which gives you a decent range.

At the heart of the new Fazer Fi Version 2.0 is a 149cc, BLUE CORE, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine that generates a maximum power of 12.9 Bhp made at 8000 rpm with utmost torque value of 12.8 Nm made at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and a constant wet multi-plate clutch system. The motorcycle offers an extremely good mileage of 45-50 kmpl on highways which reduces to 35-40 kmpl on the city roads. The bike can reach a top speed of 118 kmph. Yamaha Fazer Version 2.0 Fi comes fitted with 267 mm hydraulic disc brake at its front while the 130 mm drum brakes are placed at its rear end. The suspension system is also good comprising of telescopic suspensions at the front side and mono-shock at the back.

Yamaha Fazer Fi Version 2.0 is one of the best creations of Yamaha company which is now available in Bangladesh. Yamaha introduced the Fazer series in Bangladesh more than eight years ago but 2nd version of this machine is launched just a year ago. The first version of Fazer used to consume more fuel but in the latest update of Fazer, Yamaha has upgraded its fuel-efficiency technology and now, it gives almost good mileage than ever.

However, people of Bangladesh are now stooping towards biking a lot and they use a motorcycle for traveling here and there. Day by day, biking groups are getting stronger in the country. So, now the young generation is in need of a bike within a reasonable price which can be used for making a tour. So, they also find in the bikes a number of qualities which are the bike should be comfortable, consume less fuel or almost give better mileage and should have the brand value.

Design & looks: If we consider the design of Fazer Fi V2, it simply possesses the fantastic looks with gorgeous fairing. Fazer is regarded as a semi fairing motorcycle where the 2nd version of it is just upgraded. In the second version, the designers have given it more exciting looks. However, Fazer is one of few semi fairing motorcycles in Bangladesh which yet to disappoint customers by looks and performance. Though the bike seems a bit bigger the weight of the new version is almost the same as the previous one.

Engine performance: If we consider the engine quality between the old and new versions of Fazer, Fi engine is made by better quality technology which consists of the four-stroke, single-cylinder engine. Besides, Yamaha has used the latest blue core technology with fuel injection to make the engine more powerful. Though, the latest model of this machine consists of a 149 cc engine where the old one had 153 cc displacement. The maximum power of this motorcycle is 12.9 Bhp @ 8000 rpm by when it’s maximum torque is 12.8 Nm @ 6000 rpm.
