In this episode, Film Forum presents the celebrated multi-media artist Matthew Barney, who appeared for a Q&A October 30, at the opening night of his latest film, REDOUBT. Transposing the myth of Diana and Actaeon to the remote wilderness of Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains, this breathtaking film features stunning cinematography and intricate, mesmerizing choreography by Eleanor Bauer. The Q&A was moderated by Film Forum’s premieres programmer Mike Maggiore. REDOUBT is now playing through Tuesday, November 12. Barney’s new gallery show, Embrasure, is on exhibition at Gladstone 64 through December 21.
