Samarkand: the heart of silk route, Episode 1. I am sharing my story from a 2700 years old city which was ruled by various kings. Here are 7 must visit places:
1)Gur i Amir, 2) Registan Square, 3) Shah i Zinda, 4) Bibi Khanym Mosque, 5) Afrosiab Archaeological site, 6) Ulugbek Observatory and 8) Al Maturidi Mausoleum.
At every tourist attraction, the entry fees are 40,000 UZS, around Rs. 230/- except the Registan Square, which is 65,000 UZS. Paying through card is available.
