Visvamitrasana, also known as Flying Warrior, is one of the master pose of yoga practice. It strengthens the hands, wrists, shoulder, side body, and thighs while stretching the opposite side, shoulder, hips and hamstrings. It is important that you thoroughly warm up your hamstrings, hips, shoulders, and side waist before going into the pose.
Contraindications: wrist, hamstring, or sacroiliac injuries
