Installing a dripper on a drip line pipe involves a few simple steps:
*Step 1: Prepare the Drip Line*: Roll out the 1/2" drip line in rows, typically spaced 12" apart, and use 1/2" Nut Lock Elbows and Tees to connect hose pieces.
*Step 2: Punch Holes for Emitters*: Use a punch tool to create holes in the drip line where you want to place drippers or 1/4" barbed fittings for connection to distribution tubing.
*Step 3: Insert Drippers*: Thread the dripper or emitter into the hole, or connect 1/4" distribution tubing to the barbed fitting. Secure the drip line to the ground using 1/2" tubing stakes or stainless steel stakes.
*Step 4: Flush the System*: Before closing the line, flush out any debris by running water through the system with the ends open, then cap the ends.
*Step 5: Test the System*: Turn on the drip system and check for leaks or clogs, ensuring drippers are operating correctly.
