Описание: The Centurion was first Designed with one goal in mind, to get enough armour to fulfil the infantry support role and enough speed to serve as a cruiser, the development of the Centurion Started back in 1943 and the first couple of experimental Centurions were send to Belgium in Januari 1945, but they arrived to late to actually partake in WW2, The Centurion is however regarded as one of the most successful designed of The Post-War era with 4,423 tanks built between 1946 and 1962,

with 13 basic variants (marks) being developed.
Back in 1950 a British Centurion Unit would cost around 35.000 British pounds, when you account for inflation that would roughly be 1,3 Million British Pounds. It was in service from 1946 until actually the present day, it saw a lot of action through its entire service career with the 1st war being the Korean War with the British Army's 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars, but more on that later,

Centurion started out with one of the Best British anti-tank guns it had to offer at that time, the 17 pounder and this anti-tank gun was fitted on the Mark 1 Design, Later on the Mark 3 the main armament was changed from the 17 Pounder to the 20 pounder and then later on the Mark 5/2 it was changed to the 105mm
