Описание: The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry continued its examination of evidence allegedly linking suspended Crime Intelligence deputy head Major General Feroz Khan, businessman Mohammed "Mo" Sayed and Economic Freedom Fighter's leader Julius Malema.

The commission is scrutinising WhatsApp messages extracted from Khan's cellphone, which allegedly reveal communication between Khan and Sayed regarding parliamentary questions and efforts directed at former Inspector General of Intelligence, Dr Setlhomamaru Dintwe.

According to evidence before the commission, some of the messages suggest attempts to influence parliamentary processes and discussions around the possible removal of senior intelligence officials.

The commission has heard allegations that Sayed forwarded exchanges with Malema relating to parliamentary questions that were ultimately tabled through the EFF.

These allegations have not been tested in court, and the parties implicated have not been found guilty of any wrongdoing.
