This is elevator number 1 at Forest Sciences building (building B), University of Helsinki Viikki Campus. This elevator is west elevator. This elevator was originally built in 1963 and later rebuilt in 2000 by KONE. The elevator was traction with machine room before the rebuilding but now it was changed to MRL traction. Also the technical closet of MRL elevator was installed on 5th floor. This building has hallway access to The Natural Resources Institute Finland (building A) and building C.
