Описание: Highlights from our 2022 Sausage & Cider Festival

Held on a sunny Saturday in May, an enthusiastic crowd descended on Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club to enjoy a range of the very best ciders, gourmet sausages, cider-fuelled music, and three exciting rugby matches.

The day kicked off with an early-bird fixture between Supermarine Ladies and Lyneham Lightning. This was followed by the popular McCue Cup - a celebratory rugby match between REME Training Battalion and an RWBRFC President’s XV.

Live music is always a big part of our Festival and this year we were super-excited to welcome Swindon's premier indie covers band Penfold.

George Scarrott and Son’s Family Fun Fair provided entertainment for the younger ones and there was a range of vendors and stalls around the field courtesy of Royal Wootton Bassett's Carnival Committee.

Were you there? We would like to thank everyone who came along for this incredible event. And we should give a special shout out to all our members and volunteers who worked hard behind the scenes to put on this year's festival.
